Two experimental HCV drugs show promise in small study

University of Michigan researchers said a study using the experimental drugs asunaprevir and daclatasvir, along with the standard therapy of peginterferon alfa-2a and ribavirin, eliminated the hepatitis C virus in all 10 trial participants who had not responded to traditional treatment.
